About Aurioo

Welcome, friends from around the world.
It’s truly an honor that, among the vast ocean of information on the internet, you’ve found your way here.
My name is Suji Shi. I was born in China in 1998. I am a young ceramic artist, as well as a photographer, content creator, illustrator, and a devoted tea and spirits enthusiast.
I currently live in Jingdezhen—widely known as one of the most diverse and professional ceramic centers in the world. I’ve been deeply drawn to the richness and ever-changing nature of this art form. As I continue learning, I’ve also begun exploring my own creative work.
Along this journey, I’ve encountered many astonishing ceramic pieces. Chinese artisans are often humble and reserved; they are not always inclined to promote themselves. Yet I believe such beautiful works should not remain unnoticed or fade quietly over time. For this reason, I hope to do my part in sharing the richness and aesthetics of Chinese ceramic art with the world.

Curation Craftsmanship

Aurioo is not a real word, but a carefully designed, Latin-inspired name. It carries meanings associated with light, gold, and a sense of the divine. At the same time, its pronunciation has a softness that echoes the tonal beauty of Eastern languages.
Rather than simply being an online store, we hope Aurioo can be a space for aesthetic appreciation and cultural sharing.
Our purpose is simple: to help people better understand the culture and artistry of ceramics. From the making process, to the ever-changing and mysterious beauty of glazes, to traditional techniques passed down—or even lost—over thousands of years, as well as the flourishing diversity of contemporary Chinese ceramic art.
Here, you will discover both internationally recognized and lesser-known ceramic artists, each following their own creative path.
What we pursue is not only the functional aspect of ceramics, but also a deeper appreciation of life’s aesthetics.
We aim to present this thousand-year-old craft in its most honest and unembellished form—revealing its limitless possibilities.
